Clinical background
Her nursing experience shapes the centre’s focus on observation, safety, dignity and practical day-to-day care.
Founded in 2023, Serene Skies was created to combine professional elderly care with a more personal, familiar residential environment.

Serene Skies Care Centre began in 2023 with a simple belief: older people deserve to be cared for with the same patience, dignity and attention we would want for our own family.
Founder Poojajeet Kaur saw that many families genuinely want to care for ageing parents themselves, but work commitments, medication needs, rehabilitation and closer supervision can make that increasingly difficult.
The goal was therefore not simply to provide accommodation. It was to create a home where residents feel safe, respected, comfortable and known as individuals, while families have greater peace of mind.
“Good elderly care is about looking after the person, not only their medical condition.”

Her nursing experience shapes the centre’s focus on observation, safety, dignity and practical day-to-day care.
Poojajeet is involved in overall management, centre operations and communication with residents and families.
Residents should receive professional care without losing the comfort, familiarity and individuality of home.
Serene represents calmness and peace. Skies represents openness, hope and a sense of freedom. Together, the name reflects the peace, comfort and reassurance we want residents and families to feel.
Every resident has different routines, preferences, health needs and levels of independence.
We provide the appropriate level of assistance while encouraging residents to retain independence where possible.
Families remain an important part of care, with regular communication and reasonable arrangements for visits.
We continue strengthening practical safety and emergency preparedness, including plans to introduce AED equipment at our centres.
Choosing care is personal. Visit either Serene Skies home, meet the team and discuss your loved one’s needs with us.
